Now authors in print who want to benefit from worldwide, light-speed distribution can get a customized digital launch with an established independent publisher.
Fearless Digital is an electronic publishing service focused on helping a select group of accomplished and promising authors extend their work into the digital realm with a minimum of effort – and with maximum worldwide distribution.If your project is accepted, your e-book will bear the distinction of the Fearless Books brand, founded in 1997 and well-respected in the independent publishing industry. Through our associations with several major e-book distributors, your work will be made available under the Fearless Books imprint through the major worldwide e-book retailers listed below. This distribution network is far broader than most e-book publishing services provide, including these retail outlets:

Fearless Digital titles are made available in all major digital formats, including PDF, MOBI (Kindle format), EPUB, LIT (Microsoft Reader format), HTML, and more.

Fearless Digital is seeking properties that are either already in print or ready to be published, but currently have no digital distribution. Full and exclusive electronic rights must be available. We accept only projects that we regard as ready and viable for successful digital distribution. Any genre or subject matter is acceptable, but each project must meet Fearless Books’ editorial standards for literary excellence and marketability.
Editorial services are not part of the payment options shown below. Editing services can be separately negotiated if we determine that a project is promising but requires editorial preparation. A digital cover is provided as part of our formatting service, not including costs for original art. Although ISBNs are not used everywhere in e-book publishing, we provide a unique ISBN for each Fearless Digital title.

Reversion of Rights: We will revert all electronic rights directly to participating authors upon request with a 60-day notice, and the payment of $150.00 per title.
RatesWe charge $375* to launch a typical e-book, including formatting of an acceptable book-length manuscript or conversion of an existing print book into all necessary platforms for worldwide digital distribution, and posting to our digital wholesalers and retailers. Net income is shared equally between the author and Fearless Books for the first $250 received from sales. After that point, authors receive 70% of net and Fearless retains 30%. (In the mainstream publishing industry, authors are typically paid 25% of net from e-book sales.)
Multiple E-books Option: Contact us for information and a custom quote to launch two or more e-books under the Fearless Books imprint simultaneously. (These may include mini-books comprising articles, essays, or short stories.)
* Printed books that must be scanned for conversion may be subject to a service surcharge.
How to Get Started
If your book is already in print, send a copy to Fearless Books, PO Box 4199, Napa CA 94558 and drop a line to business@fearlessbooks.com to let us know the book is on the way. We’ll be in touch after it’s received. If your book is not yet published, please submit it for consideration as a Great Idea Review. There is a nonrefundable $75 fee for this assessment. We will get in touch within a few days to let you know if the book idea and sample writing meets the standards of Fearless Digital. If so, your Great Idea Review fee will serve as a deposit on your Fearless Digital project. Otherwise, we will advise you on the next best steps to take toward preparing your project for publication.
