The Fearless Books site went online in 1998, so I feel like an Internet old-timer these days. After having books published by two major New York houses in the mid-90s, I decided that I could do a better job with future books independently. I've published about ten titles in print since, including Gary Renard’s best-selling Disappearance of the Universe (now published by Hay House). See all my current titles here, including the new release The Way of Forgiveness. And don’t miss the Fearless Poetry Series, comprising The Light in Ordinary Things and the award-winning Touching: Poems of Love, Longing, and Desire. In 2006 I began expanding my literary consultation services, helping publishers, literary agents, and authors create and refine work for publication. Fearless associates Sari Friedman, Bruce Bawer, Louis Libert, Lorna Garano, and Alexandra Leh help me provide a diverse array of services including critiques, consultations, publicity, copy-editing, and screenplay consultations. This site has always had a strong public service component, beginning with two of the most popular guides to independent bookstores worldwide, the Fearless Independents and the Fearless Antiquarians. If you Google the search term “how to get published,” you're going to see the free Fearless Publishing Guide at the top of the list. Students of A Course in Miracles will find much material of interest in a collection of pages called “All About ACIM” which supplements my books Understanding A Course in Miracles (from Celestial Arts/Random House, 2008) and Living with Miracles (Tarcher/Penguin, 2011).
Fearless is also a very active e-book publisher, using four major distributors to disseminate digital versions of our print books and a number of short titles that are digital-only. I’m also taking on a limited number of e-books for other authors through Fearless Digital, which is part of our cooperative publishing program.
The “magazine” section of this site provides a number of articles on many subjects, from contemporary spirituality to profiles of independent artists, to tips on the writing life, and still more. Find all of these pieces in the Fearless Features.
Sense & Spirituality is a long-term undertaking of Fearless Books that currently involves a blog carried by Elephant Journal, Reports, and Bookshelf. And someday it will be a book as well.
